Cherry always on top

Lunch today was a beef fillet in a brandy sauce served with a risotto with black mushrooms. For desert a home-baked cherry pie. A delicious cherry pie with honest to goodness vanilla ice cream. Served with a side of rain. Finished off with a cigar and a glass of brandy. Great day.

Dinner tonight was bad news, helped down with a cold slice of cherry pie. At least the pie was still amazing. But you don't treat an evil disease with a sweet medicine, as Credo Mutwa says. The pie just helps with the shock.
