I needed something warm and comforting, as I so often do. Today it's tagliatelle, with half a handful of capers and shavings of chorizo. A teaspoon of cream to mellow the sharp flavours, then a twist of pepper for extra life.

Very successful. Picture has me licking my lips.
Sounds like we had a similar day. Except mine was with smoked ham, pecorino and peas (yes, peas).
M - Maybe a touch of lemon zest nest time? Just a hint...
ML - Don't dis the peas. Especially next to ham.
