Black pepper

My halaal store provided yet another first for me. Black pepper, still in strings from the vine.

I crush it roughly with the side of a knife, then add to whatever.

Light in the kitchen could be better. Sigh.

Beautiful...Whatever could be a steak with cream and crushed pepper corns as a sauce?

Steak is still on the list, but mushrooms and a splash of cream with pasta in mind was the most recent one. Also contemplating an indulgent garlic bread. And even on lettuce. Or toast.
